The BeMAGIC Summer School, entitled “Setting gateway to academia”, was successfully organized by the University of Cambridge on 7-9 April 2021. This training event, which was organized online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, gathered together all the BeMAGIC ESRs (Early Stage Researchers) and senior researchers from the Beneficiaries and Associated partners. The first day of the workshop was devoted to the presentations of the ESRs, while several scientific and training lectures were scheduled on 8-9 April. During the management session, the work carried out until now and the future activities of the network were presented and the Supervisory Board members discussed about the management aspects of the network. The training in soft skills of this event provided by ThePaperMill will take place on 10-11 May 2021 and it will tackle scientific publishing and how to read a paper.
