GTEC is an R&D performing SME with about 30 employees. GTEC was founded in 1999 in Graz, Austria by Drs. Gugerand Edlinger. GTEC has long been recognized as a top worldwide manufacturer within BCI research, and has been successfully expanding to related domains such as stroke rehabilitation, memory rehabilitation, coma assessment and communication, and functional brain mapping for neurosurgery. GTEC produces hardware, software, and complete systems for both invasive and non-invasive approaches to stimulation and imaging the brain and body, with a strong emphasis on robust systems with top signal quality in real-world settings. GTEC is also very active in dissemination and public engagement, with dozens of peer-reviewed publications, several books, over 250 completed workshop/Open House events, twelve completed hackathons, and extensive conference participation (http://www.gtec.at/).
